Web Portfolio

The process to design my Hotglue webpage started with various questions. The first aspect to analyse was the scope, in which the targets and the devices were chosen such as mobile phones, PC, Mac and tablets.
The second aspect was the content. we had the titles for our projects beforehand, this were: Introduction to Hotglue, Processing development, portfolio design exercise, portfolio implementation, mobile development 1 and mobile development 2.

PORTFOLIO DESIGN EXERCISE

The functionality is the next step to analyse. Hogtie works as a website creator, so the functionality of my website is to connect between pages to show the projects during the first semester using median form of video, audio, text and images.

The skeleton is the aspect in which the website is structured, a connection between the links and the display of the projects, and the last point to design the website was the presentation, how each page will look, the position of the images and content and the relation of this to the functionality.

I chose the color red in a monochromatic scheme for the layout of the website, I used Adobe Kuler (a webpage that allows the user to pick different colours and gives different combinations to use).
